taken before me this 9th. day of Sept. 1778
Who being upon Oath say and first the said William Edwards< no role >
for
himself says that some time ago he sent an Ower to Birmingham
for a quantity of plated Buckles to he made of the same pattern
with the Buckles now produced, that on the 14th. day of August last he
accordingly received a quantity of Buckles form Brimingham a [..] le
to his said Order which Buckles this Informant delivered on the 15th.
of August to the said Thomas Hart< no role >
to carry them to Mr. Streers Silversmith
in the strand
and that he does verily believe the said Buckles now produced
are part of the Buckles which this Informant delivered to the said
Thomas Hart< no role >
as above mentioned, and the said Thomas Hart< no role >
for
himself says that he received the said parcel from the said William
Edwards in order to carry it to Mr. Steers in the Strand
that in his
way that her he met with two persons now present who call them
-selves George Good burn and Thomas Elburn< no role >
who prevailed upon
this Informant to leave the said parcel [..] in the street whilst
he went to deliver another parcel they promising to take care of
it till he came back, that when he did come back the said
Geroge Goodburn< no role >
and Thomas Elburn< no role >
were both gone away
and stolen the said parcel
