on oath of Francis Charlton< no role > , on suspicion of having assaulted Judith
Charlton
< no role > , with intent to ravish and carnally know her. Dated July
14, 1778.

Detained on oath of Francis Charlton, and on the complaint of Judith
Charlton, for assaulting the said Judith Charlton, an infant aged 11
years, with intent her the said Judith Charlton, to ravish and carnally
know, against her will and consent. Dated July 27, 1778.

Detained on oath of Francis Charlton, and on the complaint of Judith
Charlton, for having feloniously assaulted the said Judith Charlton, and
infant aged 11 years, and had carnal knowledge of her body, and ravish-
ing her, against her will and consent. Dated July 27, 1778.

offensive weapon called a pistol, with a felonious intent to rob him.
