8 Lambert Smith< no role > , committed by D. Wilmot, Esq; standing indicted at the
delivery of the gaol of Newgate for the county of Middlesex , at Justice-
Hall in the Old-Bailey , on the 2d of July last, for breaking and enter-
ing the dwelling-house of John Batchellor< no role > , John Ham< no role > , and John Peri-
gal
< no role > , and stealing 24 pieces of flower'd wrought silk, containing 590
yards, value £160. and 3 pieces of sattin, containing 134 yards, value
£50. Dated Sept. 30, 1777.

Detained on oath of Elizabeth Turner< no role > , on suspicion of feloniously breaking
open the dwelling-house of Thomas Turner< no role > , at Winchmore-hill , in the
parish of Edmonton , and stealing 14 guineas, 13 crown pieces, and 3
silver tea spoons, a gold mourning ring, Etc. Dated Sept. 30, 1777.

oath of Mary Hawkins< no role > , for feloniously committing a rape on her body.

attempting to commit a rape upon her body. Dated Sept. 30, 1777.

tempting to commit a rape upon her body. Dated Sept. 30, 1777.

Detained on oath of Sarah Monk< no role > , for violently assaulting her, and attempt-
ing to commit a rape upon her body. Dated Sept. 30, 1777.

Detained on oath of Ann Mayne< no role > , for violently assaulting her, and attempt-
ing to commit a rape upon her body. Dated October 2, 1777.

Detained on oath of Mary Athill< no role > , for violently assaulting her, and attempt-
ing to commit a rape upon her body. Dated Oct. 2, 1777.

10 Walter Nagle< no role > , committed by J. Barnfather, Esq; on oath of Hugh Da-
vidson
< no role > and others, on a strong suspicion of privately stealing in his shop,
in the parish of St. Dunstan in the West, in the city of London , on the
10th of September, 1776, 5 gold rings and 2 seals set in gold, value £5.
Dated October 2, 1777.

be offered, to be referred to the committing magistrate, and to give 24
hours notice thereof.

oath of John Robart< no role > , for feloniously receiving a silver watch with silver
chain and seal, and one pair of silver stone shoe and knee buckles, know-
