Consent of his next Friend George Hellowell< no role > of [..] Street
in the parish & St. Luke Middlesex Gridler
[..] th put h is self Apprentice to Thomas Collins< no role > of Ball Alley Lumburd Street

learn h is Art, and with h im (after the Manner of an Apprentice) to serve from the day of the
[..] date hereof unto the full End and
[..] rm of seven Years from thence next following, to be fully compleat and ended. During which
[..] m the said Apprentice h is said M aster faithfully shall serve, h is Secrets keep, h is lawful
[..] mmants every where gladly do; he shall do no Damage to h is said M aster nor see to be done of
[..] ers, but to h is Power shall let or forthwith give Notice to h is said M aster of the same; he shall
waste the Goods of h is said M aster nor lend them unlawfully to any, he shall not commit Fornication
contract Matrimony within the said Term [..] he shall not play at Dice, Cards, Tables, or any other un-
lawful Games. whereby his said M aster may have any Loss. With his own Goods or others, during the
said Term, without Licence of h is said M aster, he shall neither buy nor sell; he shall not haunt
Taverns or Playhouses, nor absent h im self from h is said M aster Service Day or Night unlawfully:
But in all Things as a faithful Apprentice he shall behave h im self towards h is said M aster and all
his, during the said Term.

AND the said Thomas Collins< no role > in Consideration of Five pounds five
Shillings of lawful British Money
h is said Apprentice in the Art of assting [..] le Masker which he useth by the best Measns that he
can, shall [..] and [..] to be taught And instructed: [..] ding unto the said Apprentice sufficient
Meat, Drink Washing Lodging, and all other necessaries, during the said Term.

AND for the true Performance of all and every the said Covenants and Agreements, either or the said
Parties bindeth h im self unto the other by these Presents. IN WITNESS whereof the Parties above-
named, to these Indentures in [..] er [..] ngeably live put their Hands and Seals, the fifth Day of
May and in the fourteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the 3d.
by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and in the Year
of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy four.
