money, purporting to be the promissory note of the Governor and Com-
pany of the Bank of England, for payment of £.20 to George Freeborn< no role >
or hearer on demand, dated May 2, 1773, with intention to defraud the
said Edward Thompson< no role > . Dated June 9, 1777.

Detained on oath of Henry Secker< no role > . John Quinby< no role > , and others, for feloni-
ously uttering and publishing as true, knowing it to be falsely made,
forged and counterfeited,a certain promissory note for payment of mo-
ney, purporting to be the promissory note of the Governor and Company
of the Bank of England for payment of £.20 to Nathaniel Smith< no role > , Esq ;
or bearer on demand, dated May 5, 1773, with intention to defraud the
said Henry Secker< no role > , in the county of Surry . Dated June 9, 1777.

ously uttering and publishing as true, in the county of Surry, knowing it
to be falsely made, forged and counterfeited, a certain promissory note for
payment of money, purporting to be the promissory note of the Governor

Quorkan and Hugh Quorkan, are indicted as of Lent assizes 1776,
for the traiterously killing and murdering Arthur Woods< no role > , in the laid
county of Monaghan in the kingdom of Ireland , and have not since ap-
peared in order to stand their trial for the said crime: dated June 13, 1777.
Were, on the 19th day of June, 1777, by virtue of a warrant under the
hand of the Right Hon. Lord Viscount Weymouth, delivered to Edward
Mann
