The humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Allhallows the Great
in the said City of London
Sheweth
That by virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the hands and
Seals of John Wilkes Esquire Mayor and

Esquire
two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the City of London
and
the Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum bearing Date the first
Day of July one thousand seven Hundred and seventy five

deceased was removed and conveyed from the
Parish of Saint James at Garlickhith
in the City of London to the said
Parish of Allhallows the Great
as the place of her last legal Settlement
Whereby Your Petitioner conceive themselves to be aggrieved
Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices and
their said Order And pray that the benefit of this Appeal
may be saved to your Petitioner and that the hearing
and determining there of may be adjourned to the next
General Session of the peace to holden for the said City
of London and Liberties thereof
