maketh Oath and
Saith that Some time in or about the Month
of May 1773 a certain promisory Note
of wand mentioned in the Indictment preserved
against the said
Joseph Barew< no role >
was delivered
to this Deponent at the Mansion House
by the then Lord Mayor of the said City
that the said Note was, Produced before the Grand Jury dit the
then next Sessions. in June 1773 and this
Deponent Saith that on Saturday last Notice
was given him to produce the said Note on the
Tryal of the said Indictment at this Present
Sessions and deponent hath Since made
deligent Search for the Some but hath not
as yet been able to find the Same and
this Deponent Saith that he will me
his utmost endeavors to find the Same
and hopes he shall be able to find
the Same before the next Sessions
