The King agst Samuel Roulet
on an Indictment for Perjury

London (to Wit)

Thomas Holloway< no role > of Walling Street London Gentleman
and Robert Hughes< no role > of the same place Solicitor to the Persecutor
in this Indictment severally make oath as follow's and first
this Deponent Holloway for himself saith that he did this
day apply at the Treasury of the Court of Kings Bench at
Westminster Hall for an Office Copy of Roll of Easter Term
One Thousand Seven hundred and Seventy Three wherein John
Henry Ernst
< no role > was plain tiff and Joseph Gaelan Sciaualuga< no role >
the Prosecutor of this Indictment, Defendant in order to form
same for the Prosecutor on the Trial of the said Samuel
Roulet
< no role > on this Indictment But this Deponent on his said
Oath saith that on his this day day looking over the said
Original Roll the final Judgment was not Entered up on
the said Roll and Deponent Hughes for himself on his said Oath
saith that this Indictment is preserved against the said Samuel
Roulet for Willfull and Corrupt Perjury in his Evidence given
for Ernst the plaintiff on the Trial of said Cause at Guildhall
London on or About the fourteenth of July one Thousand Seven
Hundred and Seventy Three and Deponent Hughes on his said
Oath further saith that the Prosecutor as he apprehends and believes
cannot go to Trial against the Defendant on the said Indictment
without passing the said Roll and which Roll must be
Compleated from the Postea Indorsed on the Record on which
the siad Cause was Tried which is the Officers Authority for Compleating
said Judgment Roll and which Record this Deponent Apprehend
must be in the Custody of Messrs Wall and Bury the All [..]
concerned for Ernst the plaintiff in the said Cause and whether
Deponent is Informed and believes are also concerned for the
said Samuel Roulet< no role > in his defence to said Indictment
whose Business this Deponent apprehends it and be to
Compleat said Judgment and lastly this Deponent Hughes
