The Humble Petition and Appeal
of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Ann
in
Black Friars London
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said City of London
(one being
of the Quorum) dated the sixth Day of April Instant

was removed from the Parish of Saint
Botolph without Bishopsgate
in the said City of London
to the said Parish of Saint Ann in Black Friars
as
the Place of his last legal Settlement
That your Petitioners conceive
themselves aggrieved by the said Order
and Judgment of the said two Justices
and therefore humbly Appeal to this
Honourable Court against the same
And pray that the Benefit of the said
Appeal may be saved unto them and
that the Hearing and Determination
thereof may be adjourned until the
next General Session of the Peace to
be holden for the said City
And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
