The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint John of Wapping in the County
of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by a Pass Warrant or order of removal
bearing date the Sixth Day of November one
Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy one
under the Hands and Seals of the Honourable
Brass Crosby< no role > then Lord Mayor and Thomas
Hallifax
< no role > Esquire two of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace in and for the City of London (one being
of the Quorum) Eleanor Torrie< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. Widow of James
Torrie
< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. deceased whose Settlement cannot be found
and their two Children to wit Eleanor< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. agedoneTwo
Years and upwards and Ann< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. Aged One year
were removed from the Parish of Saint Alphage
London to the Parish of Saint John of Wapping as
the Place of their last Legal Settlement.

That your Petitioners apprehending them-
selves aggrieved by the said Pass Warrant or
order of Removal do Humbly appeal against
the same:
