The Information of
Anthony Tenbrook< no role >
taken
before me this 28th. day of January 1772
Who being on Oath says that on the 15th. of January Instant between I
& 10 o Clock in the Morning John Vestenberg< no role >
now present called upon this
Informant at Mr. Mintman'sat this Informant houseand desired
to speak to this Informant at the said Vestenberg's house, says he
told the said Vestenberg he was busy that the said Vestenburg
pressed his coming there and seemed confused says he went
to the said Vestenberg's house about a Quarter of an hour afterwards and
the said Vestenberg told him that Wood had done something bad
and had forged a Draught on the Bank, that the said Vestenberg
seemed to be very much hurried and this Informant observed to him
that this might revise the Affair of 1765, that the said
John Vestenburg< no role >
made no Answer to that but seemed more confused,
that this Informant said he should see the said Vestenburg at the
Coffee house at usual but that he never saw him at the Coffee
house afterwards, that on Friday the 17th. January he received
a Letter directed to himself inclosing one to Thomas Wood< no role >
both
from the said Vestenberg that he read them in the presence
of Mr. Muller and then threw them into the fire saying he
would have nothing to do with such scandalous Affairs or
Words to that Effect
