Middlesex To wit

The Information of John Lyons< no role > take
before me this 10th. day of January 1772

Who being upon Oath says that he knows Francis Phenix< no role > Edward Flannagan< no role >
Charles Burton< no role > and Henry Jones< no role > , says that the said four persons came to his
house in Dunning's Alley Bishopsgate Street about 5 o' Clock on the
Saturday Morning three Weeks ago this day, And brought to this Informant
two Gold Chains one with large Links the smaller, two Gold Snuff
Boxes one round the other square with a Picture in it a Number of December
Rings among which was a Hoop Ring now produced, a Diamond Breast
Buckle and says that the Diamonds now produced are the same that were
taken out of the said Rings and Breast Buckles three Silver Saucepans
one of them with the handle broke, two Silver Table Spoon, and a pair of
Silver Tea Tongs, says the said Gold Chains and Gold Snuff Boxes were
carried by this Informant to Ezekiel Joseph< no role > who melted them says the Gold
now produced is part of the Gold which was so melted as aforesaid, that neither
the said Gold or the said Diamonds have ever been out of this Informant
Custody since the said Gold was melted and the said Diamonds were delivered
to him by the said Francis Phenix< no role > Edward Flanagan< no role > Charles Burton< no role >
and Henry Jones< no role > , says that when the said persons first brought to him
the said Goods they were possessed of a Number of Crown pieces and
Medals me of which was a Gold Medal in a Case, says that they had
also a broad thin Gold piece; says he paid the said persons when they
brought the said Goods to him sixteen Guineas and a half Moidore
says he afterwards sent to Francis Phenix< no role > Edward Flannagan< no role > and
Charles Burton< no role > three Guineas each sealed in separate Papers wher [..]
were in Custody and that the said Henry Jones< no role > called at this Informant
house and also received three Guineas from this Informant that he
afterwards sent fifteen Gunieas by his Wife to the said Charles Burton< no role >
Edward Flannagan< no role > and Francis Phenix< no role > and that the said Henry
Jones also received five Gunieas more at this Informants house
says that the same day that the said four pounds brought the
said Goods to him to sell a Hand Bill was delivered at his house
