said Gold at the Refiners in Little Britain and the said Sarah
Cave
< no role > went another way says he stood near the Refiners door whilst
the said John Heatley< no role > went in that when the said John Heatley< no role >
came out he told this Informant the Refiner scrupled at his having
such a Quantity of Gold and that he then sent this Informant in
to buy an Ounce of Sterling Silver and to hear what they said,
says he was afterwards at the said Lyons house with Henry Jones< no role >
now in Custody when he heard him declare to the said Lyons that
he would not take less than forty pounds for the Rings, that he also
told Heatley that Lyons had some Rings to sell that the said Heatley
offered to buy them but the said Lyons told him he had got a better
Customer, says the said Lyons afterwards told this Informant
he had got another piece of Gold that would fetch about £24
ways that some time ago the said William Hudson< no role > William Smith< no role >
and this Informant broke open a house near Aldgate and
stole a Silver Dish and Some Muslin which the said William Hudson< no role >
sold says when Mr. Nesbitts house was broke open this Informant went
in first and found a Case which he opened and found some Silver Spoons
that the said William Smith< no role > and William Hudson< no role > then came into the said
house, says he this Informant tied up the said Spoons in a Handkerchief
and delivered them to the said William Hudson< no role > , says that by a Bell ringing
in the house they were alarmed and this Informant took the said Spoons from
the said William Hudson< no role > and gave them to the said William Smith< no role > says
that he this Informant and the said William Smith< no role > then went out of the front
door into the Yard and the said William Hudson< no role > went out the same way they
had come in, that the said William Smith< no role > made his Escape ever Wall
which this Informant could not do, that the said William Smith< no role > then called
to this Informant and asked him why he did not come along says he
laid the said Spoons and Handkerchief Men in a Corner of the Yard
