The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Saint
Michael Bassishaw London.
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace in
andfor the said City (one being of the
Quorum) dated the ninteenth day of April Instant

and
Mary< no role >
his Wife
were removed
from the Parish of Saint Lawrence Jewry
in the said
City to the said Parish of Saint Michael Bassishaw
as the Place of their last legal Settlement
That your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved
by the Judgment of the said two Justices and
therefore humbly appeal against the same and
Pray that the Benefit of the said
Appeal may be saved unto them
and the hearing and determination
thereof adjourned unto the next General
Session of the Peace to be holden
for the said City.
