maketh Oath and saith that he being Indicted by
Andrew Keay< no role >
for assaulting him applied to Mr.
Beach Coroner for the City of London
to inform
this Deponent how to proceed in the affair who promised this
Deponent that he Mr. Beach would apply to
the Clerk of the Peace for his information when
this Deponent should appear at the Session
to Plead to the said Indictment and would bet
this Deponent times when to attend And this
Deponent further Saith that trusting to the
notice Mr. Beach promised to send him he
this Deponent omitted to attend at the last
May Session holden for the City of London
to plead to
the said Indictment Mr. Beach not having
informed him that he ought so to do And this
Deponent further Saith upon his Oath that
his omitting to attend as aforesaid was done
through ignorance and [..] designedly he this
Deponent expecting such information from
the said Mr Beach
