Sir
The Worship. Company of Dyers do hearby give your Notice that
they do intend to pull down Sundry Buildings in their possession,
Situate on the Northside of Elbow Lane
in the Parish of St. John the
Baptist
with the partition or party Wall between the said Premises
& the House or Houses Abutting Eastward which are in your Occupation
or Possession, in Order to Rebuild the Same
And the Said Company of Dyers do hereby give you further Notice of their
Intention of the said Wall being Viewed within the Speed of one Month after the
Date of this notice by four Able Workmen according to the Direction of the Act
of Parliament, and door their Part Appoint Willm Dormer< no role >
of Silver Street
Carpenter
and John Elenes< no role >
of College Hills
Bricklayer
to O [..] the same on
Wednesday the 15 day of March 1769 at Ten OClock in the forenoon and
do requires you to name & Appoint two other Able Workmen to meet the
said Wm. Dormer< no role >
& John Elmes< no role >
on the Premises at the time Mentioned
And the said Company of Dyers to hereby give you notice that of you shall
refuse on neglect within a Works after this notice to Appoint two able Workmen
to View the said Wall together with the said Wm. Dormer< no role >
and John Elmes< no role >
they shall further proceed according to the Discretion of the Statue in that
Case made & providedDated this 22 Day of Febry. 1769
