Whereas I Jacob James< no role > [..]

was Convicted at the Session of the Peace held
last Monday the 20th. Instant at Guildhall for
the City of London of riotously assembling with
divers other persons in Cheapside facing the
dwelling House of Mr. James Pearson< no role > on the
Evening [..] of the 28th. day of October
last (being the Birthday of John Wilkes< no role > Esqr .)
and committing divers outrages there And the
Court having been pleased to pass a favourable
Sentence upon me owing to the good Character
given me by my Master and at the intercession
and request of my prosecutor Mr. Pearson
I do hereby in this Public manner most
humbly confess my Crime and ask Pardon
of my Prosecutor and the Public and return my
most sincere thanks to the Honourable Court
and my Prosecutor for the favor they have
shown me.
