To the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Vedast otherwise Foster in
the City of London
London to wit.
Whereas it appears unto us whose Names are
hereunto set and Seals affixed Two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the said City as well upon the Complaint and
Application of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of Saint Vedast otherwise Foster
aforesaid in the City aforesaid
as upon due Proof upon Oath before us made That

late of the Parish of Working Silver Smith
hath
gone away from his Place of abode in Gutter Lane
Cheapside
in the Parish and City aforesaid into some other County City
or Places and hath left his Wife and two of their Children upon
the Charges of the Parish of Saint Vedast otherwise Foster
aforesaid the Place of their last legal Settlement and that the
said William London hath some Goods and Chattels now lying
in one of the Warehouses belonging to His Majesty
Customs which said Goods and Chattels will case the said
Parish of their said Charge in Whole or in part
We do hereby authorize and command You the said Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Vedast
otherwise Foster
aforesaid to take and Seize the said Goods and
Chattels in the day time paying the Warehouse Room and all
other lawful Demands for the said Goods for said towards
the discharge of the said Parish for the Cringing up
and proceeding for his said Wife and Children And
with this Warrant You and to appear at the next
Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden in and for the said
City And Certify then and there what You shall have
