within the said City.

Ambrose Fletcher< no role > William Abell< no role > Thomas Dutton< no role > and
WilliamSquire Goldsmith< no role > Jointly and Severally make Oath and Each of
them Severally and respectfully (Speaking for himself say)
that they are Entirely Innocent of the Matters for which they
Stand Severally Committed And that they and each of them Verily
believe that the said Peter Parry< no role > did Exhibit the said Information
against them in Order to Impose upon the West India Merchants
of the City of London who these Deponents are Informed and
believe are from that Imposition Influenced to Carry on the
Present Prosecution against them.

And these Deponents each of them further say that they
never did directly or Indirectly Cause or procure the persons
called William Pellican< no role > and Mr. Cope named in the Affidavit
of James Allen< no role > and Barnabas Linton< no role > or either of them
the said William Pellican< no role > and Mrs Cope or any other
Person or Persons whatsoever to [..] cond or keep away
from Appearing to give their Testimony against these
Deponents or either of them touching the said Charge
Neither is it in the Power of the said Pellican or
Cope or either of them or any other Person or Persons
whatsoever with truth and Justice to give any Testimony
against them touching the said Charge or anything
relating thereunto Nor do these Deponents or either
