which Examinant believes was then Seiz'd by the Marshal who took him this
Examinant Prisoner, that this Examinant also eased his Pockets of some
Currency and Sterling moneyjustto the Amount of about one Hundred Pounds Just before he was taken and had tied the same
in a blue and white Linnen Handkerchief and put the same in a Punch Bowl
in a Cupboard in the Room where he was sitting in the House which he was
takenbutand which House he had before agreed for and was to have
Possession of the same that Evening from said John Steward< no role > who was
then Present but what became of the said Money afterwards Examinant
cannot tell, and this Examinant further saith not

Voluntarily and without Compulsion

The Examination of the above named Isaac Hull< no role > taken this
Second Day of [..] September 1767 before me Sir Robert Kite< no role > Knight Lord Mayor of the
said City voluntarily without Compulsion & without Oath who Saith that
the Whole and every part contained in the above Examination (save and except
that Messrs. [..] Paine & Company therein mentioned to be of Lombard Sheets Bankers, [..]
were intended to mean Messrs. Paine & Company Mentiond in Lothbury is true
and saith that the Stocking now Produced to this Examinant at this the Time
of his Examination is the same Stocking as is within mentioned, and saith
that all the Moneys mentioned in the said Examination, to have been left for
the saidHath sPowers and this Examinants Wives, and all the Moneys therein mentiond
to have been delivered to this Examinant as his Share at
Jamaica, were Part of the Moneys within mentioned
to be taken out of the Box within mentioned and Saith
that he believes there was five hundred pounds in each of the said Bagswithin mentioned
