Sepulchre in the Ward of
Farringdon without Londonare
on Inguisition taken
on View of
the Body of Mary Clifford< no role > on
Infant lying dead in the Hospital of
Saint Bartholomew.

maketh Oath that on Monday the 3d. day of
August inst.Dept.between the Hours of 3 & 4 in the
afternoon Depts. Mistress being in her Chamber
up two Pair of Stairs which commands a sight
of the Ground Floor where the deced lived she
called to Dept. to came to her which he did and
Depts. Mistress then desired Dept. to look down a
Sky light which belonged to the Dwelling house
of James Brownrig< no role > being the next Door to the
House of Dept. Master which Dept. did and
from thence importently discovered a Young
woman in Appearance with us Hair on her
Head, and her Head & Back bloody, that Dept. in
Order to have a clear view of her got out at the
Windowone Pair of Stairs Window on the
Leads & from thence to the Sky Light which
was [..] open & opened as Dept. believes to give
Air to [..] an Hog in the [..] Says he to lead
down a price of Mortar & called out to the deced
who shook her head, saying [..] she not being
as Dept. apprehends able to Speak says she went
and hid herself she as Dept. believes hearing her
Mistress coming that Dept. then returned to his
Mistress & told her what he had seen of her the
had Head & should as were cut in a very shocking
manner.

Says that the next day the Parish Officers came
to sd. Brownrigs House where Dept. being sent for
went and they in Depts. presence enquired of him
