Who being upon Oath says that he is and has been for about two
years last past Attorney to John Strachen< no role >
of [..] Camphfield near Abberdeen
Administrator to Robert Strachen< no role >
Deceased and late belonging to the
Egmont East India Man, and has to the best of his Knowledge
Possessed himself of all the Effects of the said Deceased, and solely Acted in
the Administration for that the said John Strachen< no role >
hath never received
any part of the Effect belonging to the said Deceased, and further says
that he never before had a note now produced purporting to be the promissory
Note of Alexander Mcintosh< no role >
payable to the aforesaid Robert Straham< no role >
or Order 30 days after date for the Sum of forty pounds thirteen
Shillings and six pence bearing date Decr. 4th. 1764 nor ever
recd. from the said Alexander Mc.Intosh or any other Person or
Persons either by his directions or otherwise the Money for the
said Note nor ever had any Account of such a Note from the aforesaid

his Son
nor has
any other Persons by his directions recd the same for his use
