Hereby give you notice that I intend at the expiration of Three
months from the day of the date hereof to pull down my House situated
on the north side of Fleet Street adjoining west of Poppins Alley
aforesaid late in the Occupation of Edward Woodcock< no role > in the Parish of
St. Brides London and adjoining west on a House whereof you are the
owner and which said House is in the Tenure or occupation of Mr. William
Ward
< no role > Oilman , and to rebuild the said Partition Wall, according to the
Dimentions in the statute in that Case made and provided, and I give you
notice of my Intention to the end. the said Party Wall may be within the
space of one month now next ensueing be viewed by four able workmen, to be
named pursuant to the direction of an Act of Parliament made in the
Eleventh Year of the Reign of his Late Majesty King George the First,
for the better Regulating of Buildings. and to prevent michiefs that may
happen by Fire within the weekly Bills of Mortality and other places
therein mentioned, and I do also give you notice that I do appoint on my
Behalf Mr. John Mills< no role > Bricklayer of the Parish of St. Michael Queen
Hythe , London and Mr. Thomas Mutter< no role > Surveyor of the Parish of
St. Giles's Cripplegate London, who will view the said Wall, on the Eleventh
day of June next ensueing. at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon and I
desire you will nominate two able Workmen for the said Purpose.
