William Page< no role > of Hugh street in the Park Southwark
Porter maketh Oath and saith that about 8 of the Clock
in the Evening of the 13th. day of May last Dept. being at
Publick House in Thames Street known by the Sign of
the Kentish he observed the deced about 10 of the Clock
that Evening to come into the Publick Drinking
Room where Dept. was. that soon after wards the
deced offered to Sale some Snuff Bones some of which
some in the Company bought by Auction the having agreed
to sell so: that after he had sold some of them by Question
he was requested to put up more to be sold so, that he
at first objected to it [..] but afterwards consented, and
more up to Auction wch were brought, but the deced
thinking the last so sold to have been hold under value
Disputes now [..] touching the Sale this of: that Thomas
Sturry in Mar. of the Dundley was Auctioneer, and
the deced thinking that so. Sturges had not me him
Justice, wards more between the deced and Sturges in
one John Marsh< no role > Commn. [..] Canterbury Hoy and
some of the Company, upon wch, [..]
[..] Deft. out
of a Kolich laid himself flat upon the Floors winked
to [..] John Marsh< no role > to throw the deced over Dept. which
Marsh accordingly did and the deced fill with great
force on [..] the Floor or Health upon the Back part of his
head, that Dept. and others helped the deced up, that the
deced after he was helped up sat upon the B [..]
some Beer making no Complaint of any hurt and
stayed abt. 20 minutes afterwards and then went [..]
it being about 12 at night. that Dept tho deced and all
the Company were much intoxicated with Liquor
that Dept. head the deced weavery ill a few days
afterwards and on Friday last that he heard this dead
