A Common Council
holden in the Chamber of the Guildhall
of the City on Friday the 16th. day of
May 1766 .

A Motion was made and Question put
that it be recommended by this Court to the
Majistracy of this City that they do not grant any
Licence to any Persons or Persons for holding or
keeping any Publick Assembly or Assembly house
which may have a tendency to corrupt the Morals
of the Youth of this City, the same was Unanimously
resolved in the Affirmative.
