The humble Petition of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the parish of saint Mary Rotherhith in the County of Surry

Sheweth

That by an Order of Removal bearing date the Fourth Day of
July Instant under the Hands and Seals of Sir William Stephenson< no role >
Knight Mayor and Francis Cokayne< no role > Esquire Mary Rackstraw< no role > the
Widow of John Rackstraw< no role > deceased was removed and Conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate
London to the Parish of Saint Mary Rotherhith in the County of
Surry as the place of her last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners Conceiving themselves thereby Aggrieved
Do humbly appeal against the same and pray that the
hearing and Determining of the said Appeal may be Adjourned
until the next Session of the peace to be holden in and for
the City of London And that the Court will be pleased to
Appoint a Day in the said next Session for the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Giles Cripplegate and all others concerned to
attend this court to hear and Abide by the Judgment
and Determination of the said Court touching the said
Appeal
