Mary< no role > the Wife of Richard Clarke< no role > of Pump
Court in the Minories Gunstock maker maketh
Oath and saith that last Sunday abt. & in the
Evening Dept. was sent for to Mr. Fisher's
House on Account of a Maid Servant of his
being taken ill; that Dept. presently went there
and found the [..] Sister of the sd. Servant
there, who on Depts. inquiring of her how her
Sister did told Dept. she was very ill but better
then she had burn: that Depts. asked ofter her
Sister's Complaint who answered that she had
the Piles but was then much better: Says there
was apparent Marks of a Miscarriage or lying in
by somebody there appearing Blood [..] in the Passage
leading to the Necessary and in the Necessary: that
thereupon the Necessary was immediately searched
anda new born Male Infant soon after taken out
of the Soil in Depts. presence says the Child appeared
to Dept. to be quite perfectandandDept. presently
further knows not

William Complin< no role > of Praed street in the County of
Middlesex Surgeon maketh Oath & saith that he
this Dept. with Charles Johnson< no role > of the Minories
London Surgeon [mark] did yesterday upon the Body of a new
born Male Infant found suffocated in the Necessary
of Mr. Fisher's House in the Minories as this Dept.
hath been informed and believes and suspected to
have been born of the Body of Mary [..] Jenkin< no role > 's Mr.
Fisher's Maid Servant and this Deponent saith that [..] what appeared
to Dept. he has the greatest reason to believe that
the sd Child was born alive Dept. having tried the
Experiment of puling the Lungs which were
perfectly sound in water and they floating upon
the Surface of the Waters Says the Naval Storing
was broke and there did not appear that any
Midwife had been aiding in the Delivery of the Child.
