And Charged with Returning from Transportation
maketh Oath that as he was on his Voyage abroad and
going beyond the Seas in the Ship Lawson Captain
Rowen Commander in the Month of September last
the said Ship was lost at Sea on the Coast of Holland
and thereupon this Deponent and one Thomas Norman< no role >
and William Jones< no role >
two of the said Ships Crew
and others
were taken up at Sea by a Dutch Fishing Boat
and brought into the Port of Dover
in England
and
there put on Shore This Deponent Saith that the said
Thomas Norman< no role >
and William Jones< no role >
are gone to
Holland
and without whose Testimony this Depo-
nent cannot Safely go on his Tryal and this
Deponent saith that the said Thomas Norman< no role >
and
William Jones< no role >
have promised him to be in England
and to give their Testimony For him on this
Account at the next Session at the Old Bailey
and this Deponent verily believes they will attend Accordingly.
