The King against James Woods< no role >

John Miller< no role > of Well Street near Well Close Square in
the County of Middlesex Grocer Maketh Oath that he this Deponent
did at the General Session of Oyer and Terminer holden for the
City of London in the Month of February last past prefer a Bill
of Indictment against the said Defendant for Wilfull and Corrupt
Perjury in his Allegation to procure a Licence from the Bishop of
London to Solemnize a Marriage between him the said Defendant
and this Deponents Daughter Eleanor Miller< no role > an Infant under the
Age of twenty one Years and this Deponent saith that he did at the
same Session become Bound by Recognizance in the Sum of Forty
pounds to prosecute the Law with Effect against the said Defendant
for the Crime aforesaid and that in pursuance thereof he procured
a Certificate upon the said Indictment and got a Warrant thereon
against the said Defendant and the said Defendant was soon
afterwards Apprehended upon the said Warrant and on or about the
Fifteenth day of March last gave Bail before Alexander Master< no role >
Esquire one of the Aldermen of this City for his the said Defendants
personal Appearance at the next Session of Oyer and Terminer
to be holden for the said City to plead to the said Indictment And
this Deponent saith that as he hath been Informed and Verily
believes the said Defendant did not Appear at the said last
mentioned Session of Oyer and Terminer in pursuance of the said
Recognizance whereby the same became Forfeited And this Deponent
saith that on Account of the said Defendants making Default as
aforesaid
