To the Right Honourable William Beckford< no role > Esquire Lord
Mayor of the City of London and to the Worshipful the
Alderman his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the same
City at their General Quarter Session of the Peace
assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Ann in
Black Friar in the same City.

Sheweth


That by an Order of Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of Francis Cokayne< no role > Esquire and Sir Francis Gosling< no role >
Knight two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said
City and Liberties (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the
twenty ninth day of July last pastwhereby John Katesmark< no role >
Mary< no role > his Wife and their Child Mary< no role > aged one Year
were removed from the parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate in the
in the said City to the said Parish of Saint Ann in Black
Friar , as the Place of their last legal settlement.

That Your Petitioners humbly thinking
themselves aggrieved by the Judgment of the
said two Justices appeal to your Lordship and
Worships against the said Order And pray
you will be pleased to determine the same
and make such Order thereon as to you shall
seem meet,

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
