This Informant Saith that about April last
Williams & he set out from Goswell Street
about eleven at
Night, Williams told him he would go to a place near
Tybourn Road
where there were great Squares, they
went together to Cavendish Square
and getting a Ladder
from some Buildings just by, Williams went over a
Wall & said to this Informant "here is a Place will do
"come over", which he did accordingly, when they were over
the first Wall Williams said "stay here, don't you see that
"Sash?" he then taking a Tinder box out of his Pocket Struck
a Light and told this Informant "he would get down there
"and get in at Window but that he thought the Spikes too
"high stay you here & I Will go & see further" which he did
and after this Informant I had waited half an Hour he came back to him
& said "come over three or four Walls, I've got a place
"will do" upon which this Informant went over with him
and when they came to the Place Williams had fixt upon
he took the Ladder in his Hands & turned it over the Spikes
& getting in at the Window with [..] Lanthorn in
his Hands he handed the Silver who is tries of Candlesticks, Standers, Salts, Spoons & one Mng into the Window, when he
had got all he could he came out at the Window & handed
the Silver to this Informant who received it from him
through the Iron Bails, which being done they tied it
up in a White Cloath & an Handkerchief & get away as
fast as they could; and that when they came to Gravel
Lanewhere they intended to carry
it Williams left this Informant there and took the Plate
away with him to sell it, telling this Informant that the Man
