Sheweth

That your Petitioner on the 2d. day of this Instant September was
detained by a warrant under the hand and Seal of Sr. John Fielding< no role > Knt.
in his Majestys Gaol of Newgate for feloniously taking three Bank
Notes of the Value £250. The property of Theodore Goodwin< no role > privily
from his person

Therefore your Petitioner humbly prays That he
may be Tried at this present Sessions for the offence
with which he stands Charged as aforesaid or in
default thereof he may be bailed or discharged
for the same And your Petitioner as in duty
cound shall ever pray etc
