To the Right Worshipfull His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the City of London in their General
Quarter Sessions of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex

Sheweh


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
Hands and Seals of Sir Richard Glyn< no role > Bart : Lord Mayor
of the said City of London and F: Cokayne Esquire two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said City of
London (one whereof is of the Quorum) bearing date the 14th.
day of July 1759 Mary Nevill< no role > was removed from the
Parish of Saint Dunstan in the West London to the said
Parish of Saint James as the Place of her last legal
Settlement; Whereby Your Petitioner think them selves
Aggrieved And therefore Appeal to this Court against
the same

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Pray
this Court, that the benefit of the said Appeal
may be Saved unto them until the next
General Session of the Peace to be holden
for the said City of London And that ale persons
concerned may then Attend To hear and abide
the Judgment and Determination of the same
Court touching the said Appeal

And Your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc.
