Majestye's Justices of the Peace of the said City in their
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of
Middlesex .

Sheweth.


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of Sir Charles Asgill< no role > This name instance is in set 4365. Knight and Francis Cokayne< no role > Esqr .
two of his Majestyes Justices of the Peace for the City of London
bearing Date the Second day of this Instant December Ann Rogers< no role >
Wife of Edward Rogers< no role > a Sailor in his Majestyes Service (Whose
Settlement cannot be found) and their two Children Martha< no role > Aged Six
years and Lydia< no role > Aged three Weeks were Removed and Conveyed
fromand out of the Parish of Saint Giles Cripplegate in the said
City of London to the said Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in
the County of Middlesex as the Place of the in last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners thinking themselves Aggrieved
by the said Pass Warrant or Order do therefore humbly
Appeal against the Same and Pray your Worshipps to
make such Order concerning the Premises as to your
Worshipps shall Seem Meet.

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
