before me this 23d. day of June 1758
Who being upon Oath says that on or about the 22d. of March last
he saw Mr. Benjamin Dorrington< no role >
, who lives at the Castle
in
Kings street
Cheapside
, and says that the said Dorrington
then Told this Informant that same Person had Stell a
Silver Tankard out of his House the Night before, and that
he described to this this Infomt. the Person whom he suspected
to have stole it, and this Informt. farther says that he then
Told the said Dorrington, that a Person had Attempted
to Steal a Silver Tankard out of his House the very
same Night, and this Informt. farthers says, that he has
since seen a Person (nowing Custody) who calls himself

,andwhom he verily Believes to he the
Identical Person, who Attempted to Steal his Tankard
as aforesaid, And this Informant farther says that the
Person who Attempted to Steal his Tankard as aforesd.
appeared by his Dialect, to be a North County Mom and
that, he know this Informants Formily, several of
whose Names he mentioned
