Poor of the Parish of Saint Alphage
London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Romford in the County of
Essex and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Alphage
London, That Ann Hawkins< no role > wife of Thomas Hawkins< no role >
who is a Sailor in his Majesty's Service and their two Children
Ann< no role > aged four Years and John< no role > aged Two Years are

lately came to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Ann Hawkins< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Thomas Hawkins< no role > Ann his Wife
and their said two Children
to be in the said Parish of Remford
and that thitherto the said Ann Hawkins< no role > and her said
two Children ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Alphage
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Ann Hawkins< no role >
and her said Two Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Remford
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 22d. Day of June One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Fifty Seven
