To the Worshipfull his Majestyes Justices of
the Peace for the City of London at their General
Quarter Session of the Peace assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. James
Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth.


Tha by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the hands and Seals of Robert Alsop< no role > and Francis Cokayne< no role >
Esquires two of his Majestyes Justices of the Peace for the
said City of London bearing Date the Seventh day of
May last Benjamin Stanley< no role > , Esther< no role > his Wife and his
two Children Mary< no role > Aged thirteen Years by a former Wife
and Benjamin< no role > aged Nine Months by the said Esther were
Removed from and out of the Parish of Saint Botolph
Aldersgate London to the said Parish of Saint James
Clerkenwell as the Place of their last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners humbly Conceive themselves
to be aggrieved by the said Pass Warrant or Order
and do therefore Appeal against the Same and
Pray your Worshipps to make such Order
touching and concerning the Premisses as to your
Worshipps shall seem Meet

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
