he permitted even before the Trialof the said Wilson
the said Warrant against the saidArrowsmith to be
executed And saith that although hethis Deponent
never wrote one Letter or was privy to the Writing of any Letter to the
said Arrowsmith in all his Life time nor ever drew any Bill of Exchange
whatsoever payable to the said Arrowsmith or Wilson or ever [..] gave the said
Arrowsmith any promissory Note for the Payment of any Monies whatsoever
and never had any Dealings or Transactions either with him or the said
Wilson yet this Deponent hath received Intelligence and verily believes
that the said Wilson and Arrowsmith have circulated and published forged
Bills of Exchange as if drawn by this Deponent to the Amount of several
Thousand Pounds and also one promissory Note for One Thousand pounds,
Twenty three of which forged Bills and One Thousand Pounds Note this
Deponent hath seen and in order to give a further Credit to such Forgeries
and Felonies this Deponent hath seen a great many forged Letters with
forged post Marks thereon and also with the forged Frank of the said Lord
Chedworth on five of the said Letters which were published by the said
Arrowsmith to William Wanley< no role > Esquire in Gloucester shire as thereal
Letters of this Deponent as the said Mr. Wanley told this Deponent and he
verily believes.
