London Surgeon
on his Oath saith That on last Monday he
was sent for to the Prison of Newgate
to
examine a Person ill (meaning the deced)
On which Dept. imediately went and found
the deced lying in his Ward Senseless and Speechless
that dept. examined deced's Head and found it
bruised on the Back part, that he suspected the decedshis
skull was froctured, he therefore laid it open
and dressed it That about Six in the Evening
of the same day dept. saw deced again and
thought him to be Some thing better, but thot.
there was little or [..] o hopes of his Recovery
That on Yesterday Morning Dept. visited Deced again
and found him better than on the preceding Night
but not out of Danger That in the Evening of that
day Dept. came to him again and found him dying
and Dept. hath been informed & believes that
deced dyed between three and four this Morning
and Dept. says that the Fall was the Occasion
of his Death.
