Mary< no role > the wife of Charles Blasdale< no role > of the Parish of Saint Martin in the Field in
the County of Middlesex Yeoman maketh Oath and Saith That she this Deponent hath
been informed and verily believes it to be true that one Francis Brown< no role > of the Parish of
Saint Mary White Chappell in the County of Middlesex Yeoman made an Affidavit in
writing at the last General Sessions of Oyer and Terminer holden for the City of London
at Justice Hall in the Old Barley within the Suburbs of the said City that she this
Deponent late was of the Precinct of Saint Catherines near the Town of London
And that she this Deponent was a material Witness for our Sovereign Lord the King
at this Prosecution of John Wright< no role > on a Bill of Indictment preferred against Miles
Smith< no role > Anthony Rippen< no role > Joseph Butcher< no role > and Robert Thomas< no role > the Younger for wilfull
and Corrupt Perjury and this Deponent further Saith that she has been informed and
verily believes it to be true that the said Francis Brown< no role > on his Oath further made
Affidavit that she this Deponent was gone out of this Kingdom into France upon her own
Affairs and net to return for these three Weeks or upward And this Deponent further
Saith that she has been informed that the abovenamed John Wright< no role > made Affidavit
that she this Deponent was a Material Witness and that he could not safely go
to Trial without her Testimony And this Deponent for her [..] that she with
her Husband has had Lodgings in Denmark Court near [..] in the Parish
of Saint Martin in the Fields for these Eighteen Months [..] past And it was well
known to one Mary Ash< no role > who was an Evidence upon the said Bill of Indictment
for the said John Wright< no role > And this Deponent lastly upon her Oath Saith that she
has not been out of London never since the Twenty second Day of April last
past neither is she a Material Witness for the said John Wright< no role > neither did she
see the said Miles Smith< no role > take the said John Wright< no role > out of his Warm Bed after
Ten of the Clock on Sunday Evening the twenty third Day of February December last nor did
she this Deponent see any other Person or Person whatever take the said John
Wright out of his warm Bed on Sunday Evening the said twenty third day of December
last nor at may other time what ever
