To the Right Honrble Robert Alsop< no role > Esquire Lord Mayor
of the City of London And to the rest of his Majesty's &
Justices of the peace for the Said City at their General
Quarter Session of the Peace assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint Michael
Bassishaw London.

Sheweth


That by a Warrant or Order under the Hands and
Seals of Sir Robert Ladbroke< no role > and Sir Joseph Hankey< no role > Knights
two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said City
(one being of the Quorum) bearing date the Second Day of
May one thousand Seven hundred and fifty two One Jane
Hill
< no role > Widow of Samuel Hill< no role > deceased and her four Children
(Vizt.) James< no role > aged about 8 Years Richard< no role > Seven Years Thomas< no role >
four Years and Anne< no role > two Years or thereabouts were &
removed from the Parish of Saint Stephen Coleman street
to the Said Parish of Saint Michael Bassishaw as the
place of the Settlement of the said Jane Hill< no role > and her Said
four Children.

By which said Warrant or Order Your
Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
and humbly appeal to this Court against
the Same praying Such Relief in the
Prmisses us to this Court shall Seem meet

And your Petitioners, as in Duty bound will pray.
