he had some Milk for Breakfast And in the Evening when she came to see him he complained
of a Pain in his Bowells & said that he was affarid that somebody had plaid Tricks with him
and the next Day Tuesday found him convalsed and extremely ill, Says that she went
to Mr. Delmahey & he ordered him something to take; and a Clister, but was never well
afterwards, Says on Wednesday she found him convulsed again & in Fits, Says then she
went to Dr. Lob & informed him in what Manner he was & what had been given him
And then he prescribed for him, Says that he had a Violent Purging and vomiting all
along more or less, Says by the Advice of Dr. Lob she did put some Run in his white Gravel
and other Things that he took, and that she gave him a Clister made of Broth Etc. And
that her Husband informed her it was Jallop they gave him & Salt of Wormwood, And
that one Johnson & one Pestell had given it him, Says that he continued extremely Ill
and died on Sunday the 29th. Day of March 1752.

John Luff< no role > prisoner maketh Oath and Saith that on Monday was Sennight he was in the
same Room with John Davison< no role > at Break fast and Saw Mr. Johnson & Mr. Pestell Shirring< no role >
something in a Cup over the Five, Says the said Davison was then at Breakfast by
the Fire Side, And verily believes that they put something into his Milk as he was
so soon He after Eating of it.

Joseph Senior< no role > a Prisoner maketh Oath & saith that on Monday the 23d. of March he
saw John Davison< no role > Eating his Breakfast at one End of the Ward And at the same
Time heard Luff say that he believed Johnson and Pestell had put something into
his Milk, Says on Sunday being the Day before he and the said Davison dined to
together on a Mutton Pye his Wife had sent him, And he then eat very hearty and
was very well, But on the Monday Night he was taken Ill & complained of a Pain
in his Bowells and heard him say that they had done for him.

Collingwood Garrett< no role > a prisoner maketh Oath and saith That he lay in the same Ward
with John Davison< no role > , and on [..] Tuesday Morning the 24th Day of March he heard him
Complain of being ill & got up and was taken with a violent Purging and Vomiting
And heard him say it was the Stuff he had taken in his Milk, Says Mr. Delmahey
replyed in was not Time of Day to play Tricks.
