between two and three in the morning and there was at Old James's
House himself and a Maid and Deponent laid them down upon the
table and James Asked him where he brought them from Deponent
Answered James Stables upon which James gave him a pint of Beer
and Edgerton als Batt promised him when the money was given to
him he would give Deponent some thing for his Trouble and as soon
as Deponent had delivered Same as afd. he went to James's Stables when
his two Confederats were but he could not get in & was obliged to lay
in a Hackney Coach that Night Say that he Really believes that
Jocky James< no role > did not know they were Stolen.
