To the Keepers of the London
workhouse
in the City of London , and also
to all Constables, and other Officers
whom it may concern, to receive
and convey. And to the Church-
wardens, Chapel-wardens, or Over-
seers of the Poor, of the parish
of Saint James's Clerkenwell
in the C ounty of Middlesex
or either of them, to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Mary< no role > the wife of Thomas Blee< no role >
committed to the London Workhouse as a
apprehended in the
Rogue and Vagabond was this Day brought
before me one of his Majestie's Justices of
the Pear for the City of London
and upon Examination of the said Mary Blee< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, (which Examination is hereunto
annexed) it doth appear, that the last legal Settlement of the said Mary
Blee is in the said parish of Saint James's
Clerkenwell

These are therefore to require You the said Keeper
to convey the said Mary Blee< no role > and her
Child John< no role > aged about three years
to the said parish of Saint James's Clerkenwell

there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, of
Overseer of the Poor , there to be provided for according to Law.
And You the said Church-warden, Chapel-wardens, and Overseers of
the Poor, are hereby required to receive the said Mary Blee< no role > and
her said held and provide for them
as aforesaid: Given under my Hand and Seal this 17th
Day of December in the Year of our Lord 175 1.
