The Deft is a House Keeper in Winchester Street in the Parish of St. Peter le Poor in Broad Street Ward and on the
21st. of December last was at a Wardmote duly elected Constable for the Precinct of St. Peter le Poor in sd. Ward as setforth in the
Indictmt. & notice was given to him of his Election but Deft did not appear to take upon him the Officeat the usual time he was
summoned to attend the Court of Aldermen to shew Cause why he did not but did not appear

He has a Lease of his House which he holds of two Landlords vizt. Sr. John Buckworth< no role > to whom he pays £30 &
West to whom he pays £22.10s in the whole £52.10s which he pretends he has let to Robert Brambelby< no role > who is or was his
Foreman at £30. a year & that he has an Agreemt. or Memdum in Writing but no Assignment of the Lease
