ye. City of London , & to the Worpful ye. rest of His
Majesty's Justices of ye Peace of the said City and
the Liberties thereof in their General Quarter
Session Assembled

The humble Petition & Appeal of the
Churchwardens & Overseers of ye Poor, of
ye. Parish of St Gregory London;

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant, under
the Hands and Seals of Your Lordship and Sir John Thompson< no role >
Knt Two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the City of London &
of Liberties thereof, (one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
Twenty Fourth Day of February last past; Elizabeth Benjamin< no role >
Wife of Benjamin Benjamin< no role > (who is Soldier abroad in His
Majesty's Service ) and their two Children, Thomas< no role > aged three
Years, and Elizabeth< no role > aged Eleven Months; were Removed from
the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate , London, unto the
Parish of St Gregory , London, alledging the said Parish of
St Gregory , to be the Place of their last legal Settlement.

That your Petitioners conceiving themselves
Agrieved to your said Warrant or Order of Removal,
Do Appeal to your Lordship and Worships
therefrom, and humbly pray, that you will be
pleased to hear them in the Premisses, and that
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate London,
may appear before you, to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of Yor Lordship
and Worships, touching this Appeal
