This Examinant on his Oath saith That he hath
known & been intimately acquainted with
William Martin< no role >
now in Prisoner
in Newgate
George Brown< no role >
who is not
yet taken for the space of twelve months last past during
which time they followed the Business of Carmen
at
Botolph Wharfe
frequently were employed in carrying
severall sorts of Merchandiges to diverse Places in & about
the said City in particular about a Month agoe He this
Examinant the said

George Brown< no role >
were employed in the loading of Carts & driving the same
to the East India Warehouse
from Botolph Wharfe
with
Chests of Tea belonging to the East India Company that
there he this Examinant & the said two other Persons
seeing several other Carmen (who were also employed in
loading & carrying the said Tea in their Carts to the said
Warehouses others Names to this Examinant doth not
know very busy & report in plundering & making holes
in the Chests, shaking them about & raising up the Tops
thereof whereby they get great Quantities of Tea indend
this Examinant and the said two other Persons to met
[..] interupt of the like hind & accordingly they consulted
together that last came to a resolution to plunder the Chests
as well as the rest whereupon he this Examinant and the
said

laid hold of several Chests that were there
upon the Wharf made holes in them & shook Tea thereout
whereby they got about half a Pound which they sold other
Coopers Arms in Botolph Lane to the Master of the House
there who gave them half a Crown for the same That the
next day he this Examinant & the said

were
about the Wharf & plundered several Chests which they strook
