went about the Wharf and
plundered several Chests which they shock in the same Manner as
before by which they get a large Quantity of Tea which the said
Brown sold for twenty Shillings but to whom this Examinant knows
not but was informed by the said George Brown< no role >
it was sold to one

And this Examinant further saith That
he hath known Robert Jermain< no role >
who is now in Newgate
for about
the Space of twelve Months but was never concerned particularly
with him in committing any Felony only at the Time this Examinant
and the said George Brown< no role >
were stealing the Tea before mentioned
he saw the said Jermain go to several Chests put his Fingers therein
pull out Tea fill his Pockets with the same and when full wou'd go
and empty them (but where this Examinant knows not) and would
then return and fill them again which he repeated several Times.
