Margaret Miles< no role >
aged about sixteen years
now a Prisoner
in the said Hospital was
apprehended in the City of London
as Rogue and Vagabond to wit loitering about and begging
in Fleet market
about six weeks ago for which she was
committed to the said Hospital
and upon Examination of the said
Margaret Miles< no role >
taken before me this Day upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the last legal
Settlement of the said
Margaret Miles< no role >
is in the said Parish
of Saint James in Clerkenwell
in the said County of
Middlesex
These are therefore to require you the said Porter of Bridewell
or other Officer to Convey the said Margaret Miles< no role >
in the next direct Way to the said Parish
of Saint James in Clerkenwell
and there to deliver her
to some Church-Warden, Chappel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor
there, to be provided for according to Law. And you the said
Church-Warden, Chappel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor, are hereby
required to receive the said Margaret Miles< no role >
and provide for her
as aforesaid. Given under my Hand and Seal this Sixth Day
