THE Examination of Elizabeth Hudson< no role >
aged about eighteen Years a
Rogue and Vagabondapprehended by
[..] brought
before me one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said City.

This Examinant on her Oath saith that about six, Weeks ago
she was taken up for lying about in Fleet market and begging there
for which she was committed to Bridewell Hospital London and hath
remained as a prisoner there ever since And this Examinant
further saith that about two Years ago she was bound an Apprentice
to John Deal< no role > of the Parish of Saint Mary Aldermany London
Chimney Sweeper with whom she lived for the Space of one
Year and upwards and since that time hath obtained no
subsequent Settlement

Sworn at Guildhall London this
6th Day of February 1744 before me}
